Peppermint Essential Oil

from £0.00
Sold Out

Harvested once the bees have had their fill, this pure form of oil from a primary distillation is the very best I have ever tried. Feel it between your fingers and you will immediately know the difference. Unlike commercial oils, it feels oily. The aroma is intoxicating.

Peppermint Essential Oil is my second favourite. It is excellent for treating anything itchy (if you are stuck -use toothpaste!), so I use it neat on a bite that is keeping me awake, and add it to my creams and soaps. It is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, so good to inhale when congested as a steam or in a diffuser. It’s lovely in chocolate too!

My bees love it too- all types. These plants are covered in, not only honeybees, but all of the bumbles and butterflies in the garden. It must be good stuff!

For more information about the properties of Peppermint click here

Presented in green 5ml and 10ml bottles. My favourite is, yes -you guessed -green.

If you would like a larger volume, please get in touch. I am limited to what I can grow.

If you would like your own lavender distilled, or another plant, that is always of interest and we can come to an arrangement so you can have your own essential oils and hydrosols. Please get in touch before July so I can plan ahead. I will need to check it is the correct plant and that I have the capacity to put through distillation.
