Rosemary

from £8.00
Sold Out

Rosemary is one of my favourites, and I especially like the hydrosol, which I use in cooking and as a general spray to brighten things up.

There is quite a bit of evidence to support its usefulness as an anti-inflammatory agent in many conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, menstrual cramps, lung disorders, and so on. It is well known for its helpfulness in treating thinning hair and dandruff in the cosmetic industry and has been shown to aid cell rejuvenation, probably because of its antioxidant and anti-fungal properties, in skin care. The food industry utilises it for its antifungal and antibacterial properties. The list goes on. For more information, see https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378874118314107

Harvested once the bees have had their fill, this pure form of oil from a primary distillation is the very best I have ever tried. Feel it between your fingers and you will immediately know the difference. Unlike commercial oils, it feels oily. The aroma is intoxicating.

Presented in green 10ml bottles. My favourite is, yes -you guessed -green.

If you would like a larger volume, please get in touch. I am limited to what I can grow.

If you would like your own rosemary distilled, or another plant, that is always of interest and we can come to an arrangement so you can have your own essential oils and hydrosols. Please get in touch before July so I can plan ahead. I will need to check it is the correct plant and that I have the capacity to put through distillation.
