Efforts to reduce plastic and improve presentation

Gradually, very gradually, because I try not to waste anything and to keep costs down so you can afford my good produce, I am changing my packaging and presentation. Thois is a lot of work and I have been very lucky to have the support of my sister, Benny, and my excellent friend and supporter Thea in these efforts.

My creams are now in new green glass jars. I have not had time to take lots of photos, but you can see the jar type on my Day and Sunny Day creams. These jars contain no plastic and are reusable and recyclable - completely. Hooray!

This reminds me: I have changed the name of my Cloudy Day Cream to simply Day Cream. The feedback was that it was rather confusing and possibly depressing for people as a name, so hopefully this will help. Don’t worry - I will still think up more comedy names for future products!

My bottles have changed a little and I have sourced these from a different company, again to try and reduce plastic and improve their look. However, I am not sure that the new tops are so successful. I will persevere with them for now and talk to my jar supply company to see if they can improve these closures for the future.

Lots of events planned coming up to Christmas, and I am still harvesting, drying, distilling and experimenting. Hopefully I will see you all over the coming months. It’s always good to have a catch up and see how you are doing!
